Suick
has done it. A great 38.5" musky. After a significant fight Suick boated the
brute and simultaneously issued a warning to Tallywacker and Ojibwa...
as the
Esox came aboard, Suick Sean screamed out "I'm Number One!". And, while
Marabou Mike, who guided Suick to the monster, got the camera into position
for the photo session, Suick is reputed to have said "...now that I've
boated my first legal musky, before Tallywacker or Ojibwa, they both have to
make true on their bets from Initiation Night at the Black Oak! Tallywacker
has to let me come and live with him, as soon as I graduate. He's promised I
can use his place in San Francisco as my launch pad. I can hardly
wait!...and, Ojibwa has to let me use his Chevy pick-up for 3 months! I'll
look really cool cruising around Carbondale in a red Chevy...the chicks will
go wild!" I'm Number One!
Koontail Kevin has verified Sean's story as he overheard the bets being made
at about 12:45 AM on Initiation Night. However, Kevin added a caveat, he
said "...these bets don't have to be paid if both Tallywacker and Ojibwa
catch a legal before September 1st, 2004".
Neither
Tallywacker or Ojibwa were available to comment on Suick's musky or the
bets.
