Esox Expedition 2003The Marauder Hunt 2003 has come and gone...congratulations to Free Spool Frank, UMA 2003 Winner! It was a banner year for the rookies - Treble Hook Tom reeled in muskies like taking candy from a baby. There was a great turnout for the trip this year- from both rookies and seasoned members alike. Treble Hook Tom even took a moment to jot some thoughts after the 2002 trip... The picnic was a huge success, and all of the Marauders enjoyed Jerkbait John's Famous Lomo. Check out the Marauders after a day of fishing and gluttonous eating!Updated report: on 9/13/02 Jerk Bait John, Jumboo Jim, Seducer Steve, Giant Killer George, and Free Spool Frank were evening fishing on Long Lake after a hard day on the Cisco Chain. Jerk Bait John throwing a Big Kahuna bucktail landed an enormous 44.5 inch Musky. Estimated weight was 28 lbs. The fish was released to live another day. The time spent on Long Lake was less than 30 minutes. Younger Marauder generations: watch and learn. |
