THE 2006 HUNT!!
Musky Marauder Hunt June 2006
Brotherhood of the Blade II
The Lost Loon Lodge Chronicles
June 2006 proved to be a great month for Musky Fishing. The Musky Marauder Hunt results from Lost Loon Lodge smashed multiple records. Giant Killer George won the UMA with a 49.5" Hawg. This was the second largest Musky ever caught in UMA competition. Congratulations Giant Killer!
Jerk Bait John was right behind Giant Killer with a pig 49"monster. Look at the girth of that fish! This was the third longest Musky ever caught in UMA competition. This fish was caught the day after Giant Killers and the photo nearly gave George cardiac arrest!!!!!!!!
Seducer Steve after many years of being blanked came thru like a lightning bolt. He not only caught his first Wisconsin legal a 38.5 incher on his third cast of the day, but he followed that with a 37 incher the following day and then a 38 inch Tiger that same afternoon. Great job Seducer! The curse has been broken for Steve. Look out fellow Marauders "The Seducer" will be really dangerous in future years!!!!!!!!!!!!
Free Spool Frank also nicknamed "Front Row" Frank for reasons not to be divulged here nailed a 36.5 incher. He also guided two new initiates Rattle Master and Fuzzy Duzzit to two beautiful muskies. Rattle Master nailed a 42.5 inch Tiger trophy on one of his last casts of the day! Wow! Drew nailed his second lifetime Musky with a 39.5 inch beauty! Nice going guys!
Initiate Predator Peter also enticed his first Musky with a great 38.5 inch Barred Musky. Look out guys as Predator is as intense a fisherman as they come. After 10 -12 hours on the water everyone needs a break, but not Predator, he heads to the boat dock after all the boats are in to cast some more from the boat dock. EAT! SLEEP! FISH!
Initiate Brush Hawg Brian and his father Rizzo Wiz Randy saw lots of action. They were with Giant Killer and Jerk Bait when the two big Trophies were taken. They saw Musky fishing at it’s finest hour! Thanks for your help guys. Great photos Brush Hawg!
Kahuna Tail, Jig Head, Top Raider, and Grim Reaper all saw lots of action. They either had multiple hook ups that were lost or saw other big muskies boated. Everyone saw lots of fish and lots of action of multiple kinds. All in all it was a great hunt. Everyone is hooked on Musky fishing and the fun, trauma, and laughs that come with it! I assure you that next year Kahuna Tail and Jig Head and Top Raider will set the hooks hard. If not the rest of the Team will put them all in dog collars and pull hard then they will learn! Great Hunt Boys! Thanks for coming!
